Youth For Human Rights – Beja is implementing a new cycle of human rights education activities with young people aged between 8 and 12 years old. On 17 June 2026, ten participants — Diogo, Carla, Inês, Rui, Naisa, Irina, Naida, Helena, Maria, Santiago and Martim — took another step in their learning process at “Shaves – Escolhas”, in Bairro da Esperança, Beja.
The activity is part of an ongoing local effort to make human rights more accessible to children and young people through educational and participatory moments. By creating a regular learning space, the initiative helps participants understand rights, respect, equality and civic responsibility from an early age.
