The Institute for Applied Research for Business (IARB) participated in the youth
exchange “With Digitalization Against Corruption,” co-funded by the Erasmus+
Programme and held in Berane, Montenegro. A total of 60 young people and youth
workers from 14 countries took part, including 8 participants from North Macedonia
representing IARB.
The activity was part of the project DigitalVS Corrupt, an Erasmus+ Capacity Building
project, which aims to fight corruption in the ЕU and the Western Balkans through the
use of digital tools and the empowerment of young people and citizens. The exchange
further contributed to strengthening young people’s understanding of corruption and
equipping them with practical digital tools to address it. Through interactive workshops,
discussions, and intercultural collaboration, participants explored topics such as
corruption in the public and business sectors, whistleblower protection, and the role of
digitalization in promoting transparency and accountability.
The project concluded with a public conference where participants presented key
results and shared their learning experiences. By fostering dialogue, critical thinking,
and cross-border cooperation, the initiative empowers young people to become active
contributors to a more transparent and fair society.
