NETWORK ENGAGEMENT SCHEME
The Network Engagement Scheme (NES) is a member-only programme that engages the ALF Network coordinators through strategic intercultural activities, such as cultural exchange initiatives. The NES is designed to reinforce ALF National Networks Member Organisations by fostering their effectiveness and impact through solid governance structures, enhancing communication outreach, and leveraging the collective knowledge of member organisations from our Networks.
The intercultural activities in which members and Heads of Networks engage focus on four key areas:
- Governance: Establishing clear frameworks and guidelines that define how each ALF National Network operates, ensuring accountability and transparency, and effective decision making among member organisations.
- Communication & Outreach: Improving Network visibility and connecting ALF Networks with key stakeholders like municipalities, media and academic institutions.
- Capacity Building: Offering online training, network meetings and mentorship activities to build Network capacities.
- Knowledge Sharing: Encouraging members to collaborate on developing joint sessions and contributing to research publications.
This scheme reflects the strength of our Networks, highlighting the core objective of having them in place, which is to bring together diverse organisations to collaborate and drive collective action, ensuring that intercultural dialogue remains at the heart of our work across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
