The Algerian network of the Anna Lindh, is headed by the National Association "Our Algerian Heritage". The Network includes more than one hundred and fifty associations registered on the platform of the institution, working in various fields such as culture, health, youth, environment, sports, rural and sustainable development; heritage protection and support for people with disabilities.

A significant number of the member associations have presented national projects to train rural women, build the capacities of civil society, in addition to programs in the field of environment and climate.

These associations are present all over  Algeria, the largest country in Africa and the Mediterranean basin. The Network has a significant number of active associations in southern Algeria and the interior regions, especially rural areas.

The Anna Lindh Algeria Network works to establish a culture of dialogue and mutual assistance among all members of its network. The goal is to benefit as much as possible from the experiences and expertise of all associations. This principle of exchange will be strengthened by implementing training and exchange programs in order to enhance the capabilities and skills of all members of the Algerian network
