FLAGSHIP PROGRAMMES
The Anna Lindh Foundation National Network in the Czech Republic connects civil society organizations and other entities focused on intercultural dialogue. Led by the Institute of International Relations Prague (IIR), a public research institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czech Network bridges academia, policy, and public discourse, particularly on the EU, the Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa.
The Czech ALF Network engages in initiatives on climate change, culture, social cohesion, education & research or women’s empowerment. It brings together diverse members, from cultural and community associations to academic institutions and youth organizations. Its key goals are fostering intercultural dialogue, enriching public debate, and engaging communities beyond the capital of Prague.
In the Czech Republic, ALF supports its members through capacity-building trainings, networking with other national networks, participation in joint projects and many ALF open calls, and the promotion of members’ work and events.
Since its inception, the Czech network has operated under the auspices of the Institute of International Relations Prague and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
As of 2025, the Czech network comprises 50 civil society organizations (non-profit organizations) as well as academic institutions, think tanks, university departments, and individuals.
All members focus on topics related to intercultural dialogue between Euro-Mediterranean countries, aiming to foster public discussion. The headquarters of the Czech ALF Network is based in Prague.
