About the HoN Romania

GEYC was chosen by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to serve as the Head of Network for the Anna Lindh Foundation Romania for a period of two years, from 2026 to 2028. The decision of the evaluation committee was based on several factors, including relevant expertise in the operational field of the Euro-Mediterranean Anna Lindh Foundation, the promotion of common values among ALF members, and innovative and creative approaches supporting equality, diversity, and solidarity. Furthermore, the committee considered the experience in collaborating with civil society organizations in the Euro-Mediterranean region, civic engagement, organizational skills, and the contribution of ongoing projects to educating the public, promoting intercultural awareness, and facilitating dialogue between communities on both shores of the Mediterranean.

ALF Romania Network

The ALF Romania Network is a collaborative platform comprising NGOs, independent artists, and experts dedicated to fostering intercultural dialogue and promoting sustainable development goals within the Euro-Mediterranean region. Our members engage in diverse initiatives aimed at advocating for human rights and enhancing citizen participation, thereby contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society. The network prioritizes youth engagement, empowering young people to take an active role in shaping their communities and the broader Euro-Med landscape. Through workshops, cultural events, and collaborative projects, we create opportunities for knowledge exchange and capacity building, encouraging a vibrant dialogue among diverse cultures. By connecting various stakeholders, the ALF Romania Network strives to build a more cohesive and resilient society that values diversity and promotes social justice.
