AquiMeEncontro – International Pupils at Basic and Secondary Portuguese Education System examines the educational inclusion of international pupils in Portugal and analyses how the Portuguese education system is responding to the increasing cultural and linguistic diversity of its student population. Developed by PLANAPP in collaboration with Universidade Aberta, the policy brief presents evidence-based findings on the educational experiences of migrant students and proposes policy recommendations to strengthen inclusion, equity, and academic success.

The publication explores demographic trends, school integration processes, language acquisition, and educational outcomes of international pupils enrolled in Portuguese basic and secondary education.
