The article analyzes the role and challenges of sociocultural, community-oriented education in contemporary Society, where artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are rapidly spreading. Drawing on theoretical insights and recent research conducted in Sweden, the paper discusses the impact of AI on cultural identity, the education system, and community life. The importance of the educational process in shaping a critically thinking individual is also examined.

The development of Artificial Intelligence and its integration into various spheres of social life pose complex challenges not only for technological advancement but also for the educational system and sociocultural processes. Rapidly changing AI technologies will inevitably influence human thought, communication, creativity, and identity formation; therefore, it is essential to analyze how education is changing within a community-oriented sociocultural context. Although technological progress is often viewed as inevitable, it is crucial to consider its impact on socioculture. AI poses a threat to the systems of value, tradition, and identity transmission; consequently, the need for systematic and continuous adaptation and transformation of educational paradigms becomes a necessity. The task of education to ensure the transmission of information while fostering the formation of perception and the development of resilience is more relevant than ever. Educational practices must be open to interdisciplinary collaboration, based on principles of ethics, human rights, and inclusivity. Research indicates that technologies can be successfully integrated into education if they serve human growth rather than standardization and instrumental logic.
