Abstract

The article examines the prerequisites for students with learning difficulties to overcome. The article aims to analyze the prerequisites for overcoming learning difficulties experienced by students. Objectives of the article: 1) to analyze the concept of learning difficulties experienced by children; 2) to analyze the possibilities of overcoming difficulties in the dynamics of students’ definition of difficulties; 3) analyze effective possibilities for overcoming socio-economic difficulties; 4) to discuss the possibilities of positive socialization of the child to overcome difficulties; 5) based on the research data, to prepare a model of assumptions for overcoming difficulties experienced by students. Subjects. Students with learning difficulties. The main prerequisite models for overcoming difficulties: cooperation of various specialists, provision of additional lessons, search for financial resources, dissemination/increase of cooperation (proper attention at home, all kinds of help at school), purchase of necessary tools, creation of intervention lessons/groups, counseling services not only for students but also for teachers, use of existing resources.
The difficulties experienced by students are divided into general and specific difficulties, but their classification is treated differently by different researchers. However, the most important thing is to find the most effective methods that can help overcome them. The main assumptions of learning difficulties, based on theoretical material and empirical research, are: 1) teamwork and cooperation of educational support specialists; 2) application of positive socialization during lessons and in non-formal education and during additional consultations (lessons); 3) socio-economic support and complex assistance; 4) creation of scaffolding, individualization of assistance (additional lessons, interventions, consultations, non-formal education); 5) investment in the development of human and other resources, their more intensive use and renewal.
