Abstract

This Agenda is a plan of action for people, the planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. There is a recognition of eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. On behalf of the people, the UN has adopted a historic decision on a comprehensive, far-reaching and people-centred set of universal and transformative Goals and targets.
