Members of the Association Citizens of Sarajevo, Citizens of Europe Winners of the "FREEDOM" award
Hugues BERNARD. Philippe QUERE, Vincent FOURNIER, Benoît LOGRE, Jean ARROUCAU, Geneviève LETOURNEUX and the Association Citizens of Sarajevo, Citizens of Europe are the winners of the "SLOBODA" Award of the International Center for Peace and the Sarajevo Winter Festival for their exceptional contribution to humanism, the fight for human rights and freedoms in Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the WORLD.
President of the IPC/SWF Ibrahim Spahić presented the winners with the Award at the Yellow Tabija in Sarajevo.
This is a recognition of the citizens and the association who, through their actions, have confirmed the importance of taking responsibility for the freedom and dignified life of every human being and unity in diversity and its values of COURAGE, JUSTICE, SOLIDARITY AND EQUALITY of all citizens of Europe and the world, Spahić emphasized. The members of the Association once again expressed their commitment to the future and stability and peace and the integration process in Europe, presented documentation on the work of the Association and the actions we have led in BiH, France and Europe over the past 33 years and announced the continuation of active support and joint struggle with the citizens and civil society of our country to preserve the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its membership in the EU.
